About Falassarna Beach
Falassarna Beach is one of the most beautiful and awarded beaches in Crete, located on the island’s west coast, about 60 km from Chania. It is famous for its long stretch of golden sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters and breathtaking sunsets that attract visitors from around the world.
In ancient times, Falassarna was an important harbor and trading center. Today, only archaeological remains remain, as earthquakes over the centuries destroyed much of the ancient city. Its natural beauty, spacious shoreline and clear waters make it a perfect destination for swimming, relaxation and unforgettable sunset views.
